This piece was inspired by the above picture.
As I looked at this picture, I felt a sense of hope in hopelessness. Of loneliness. But because you can see distant light through the trees, it was only fleeting. As if the forest itself was relieved by it. I tried to capture those feelings, those sensations, in this piece.
